Unit 1
This is a basketball game machine. The student is trying to make as many baskets as possible before the timer runs out. When the ball goes into the hoop, the machine keeps track of the score. The machine returns the balls so the player can keep practicing. It's a fun way to practice shooting basketballs and see how many points you can get!

This is a nest that is full of baby birds. They are hungry. They are opening their mouths wide because they are waiting for food from their mother. The baby birds are very small and need a lot of care.

Before the graduation ceremony, each class made a poster with best wishes for the graduating sixth graders. The posters were decorated with colorful drawings and messages to celebrate what they had done and to wish them good luck in the future.

This is a group of students practicing table tennis. The students are learning how to play by hitting the ball with their paddles. The coach is helping them by showing how to hit the ball correctly. Practicing is fun and a great way to get better at the game!

These students from Dayuan Elementary School are performing a drum show at a senior daycare center in their community. This is a community service project. It helps the elderly feel less lonely and gives the students a great chance to perform and share their talents.

This picture was taken at Sun Moon Lake. It's a popular activity to have a boat ride when you visit Sun Moon Lake. The boats have golden horse statues on top and they are ready to take people on a ride around the lake.
